The Mission and Vision Statement of Simpson United Methodist Church

“Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World”

Our core beliefs bind us together as a community and inform how we live out our mission.

BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the foundation, guideline and direction of our living experience.

HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that by continuing to embrace the Holy Spirit we will be led to a renewed and transformed Life that guides to a holistic community of faith.

CHURCH
We believe church orientation is important for members to be knowledgeable toward United Methodist doctrine.

NUTURING
We believe nurturing and caring is best shared in Bible study, small groups, and interest groups for ministry.

OUTREACH
We believe as an expression of God’s love we will extend ministry to the community and world.

WORSHIP
We believe worship is our service of corporate praise to God.

About

The plaque is a statement proclaiming our origin, what and who we are, as we continue our  mission ministry.

Pastor Aaron Carter has a heart to help people recognize God lovingly at work in them and in their lives. As a witness to how faith empowers one to build an abundant life, Pastor Carter strives to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ for understanding, belief and application in everyday living. His hope is for people to experience transformative encounters with God that assures them of Jesus’ word that they are loved by God as children.

In preparation for ministry Pastor Carter earned the Master of Divinity degree in 2010 from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Some of Pastor Carter’s interests include NBA and college basketball, coffee, a good book, thoughtful conversations, outdoors, meeting new people and spending time with his boxer, Ali.
