Why Simpson UMC?

Why Worship at Simpson UMC?

We believe we are sharing the word of God for everyone to be what God called us to be with Prayer, Boldness, Consistency, Faith, and Love.”We Are The Church That Loves You for Real.”

The Mission and Vision Statement of Simpson United Methodist Church

“Impacting and Equipping Individuals for God’s Kingdom-Building”
“A Community of Faith for an Everybody Generation”

Our core values emphasize what’s important at Simpson UM Church.

We believe that the Bible is the foundation, guideline and direction of our living experience.

We believe that by continuing to embrace the Holy Spirit we will be led to a renewed and transformed Life that guides to a holistic community of faith.

We believe church orientation is important for members to be knowledgeable toward United Methodist doctrine.

We believe nurturing and caring is best shared in Bible study, small groups, and interest groups for ministry.

We believe as an expression of God’s love we will extend ministry to the community and world.

We believe worship is our service of corporate praise to God.

The plaque is a statement proclaiming our origin, what and who we are, as we continue our  mission ministry.

Rev. Robert Charles Waddle

Pastor Waddle believes in preaching and teaching the word of God; and, just as important, believes that we must “live” the word.  He is a “tell it like it is,” open and honest man of God; and, is respected because of his “Do as I Do” and “Not as I Say”  attitude.  An anointed preacher and teacher, he draws on his own failures and shortcomings to deliver God’s word.

What distinguishes him from others in his field is his love and compassion for others.   Pastor Waddle has had the privilege of ministering two churches.  Each church has had the opportunity to excel to the highest under his leadership.  Innovative pastoral leadeship, at Simpson UMC has created new visions to the congregation for spreading  the gospel to the masses.

He completed his course of study at Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas, Texas and graduated in the summer of 2016.
